What customers say?

“ Restaurant El Nuevo Marino is providing great interesting and tasty well presented food once more, with attentive service. A table on the terrace gave us glorious evening views across the bay. We have been on holiday and this restaurant is now on our list of favourites for when we return next year. Thank you. ”

“ An extraordinary place to eat, but you do need some patience (there are few but very friendly waiters). The food is very good value for money. We recommend the cachopo with cured meat and caramelized onions, and the torrija for dessert. An ideal location if you can book a table on the terrace. ”

- Sergio Temprado -

“ Went with the family. They paid extra attention to accommodating the little ones. Food? Great take and sooo much food. Perfect for someone like me who loves to eat big quantities. Sea view from inside and also outside tables for more enjoyment. Staff was amazing. If I'm ever in town again, I'm going there. ”

“ We had an incredible meal and received phenomenal service from the very first moment. We were traveling with our dogs, and they were welcomed. It's a pleasure to be treated like this when you're traveling. The food was super good. The price was very good. You can tell they care about their work and their customers. We'll be back! ”

“ After several attempts to make a reservation, we managed to get in one day. The staff was very friendly. When I called to make a reservation and was told no, they tried to see if they could squeeze us in somehow. Once at the restaurant, the waitress who served us continued in the same vein: friendly, attentive, and helpful with ordering quantities. We ate from the menu, although there was a daily menu that looked very good. We ordered the croquettes, which were delicious and creamy, a 10/10! Scallops, garlic shrimp, and cecina cachopo. For dessert, we had cheesecake, which was the most ordinary of all the dishes we tried. Flavorful, traditionally cooked food. 100% recommended. ”

“ The food at the new Marino was excellent. I only took photos of the desserts. There were 16 of us, and we called ahead to place our order after checking out the dishes, reading recommendations on Google, and listening to what other people had told us. In order of our favorites (4 of each): 1. Smothered baby squid - the best part of the meal. Delicious. 2. Fried cod. Very juicy and accompanied with a little honey and mustard sauce, which wasn't needed, but was delicious. 3. Cachopo - when it arrived, we thought it was greasy from the batter, but it wasn't at all. It's powerful because it comes with cured meat, goat cheese, and caramelized onions, but it's delicious. 4. Bonito roll - it doesn't have as much sauce as other places, but it was delicious. The roll and cachopo came with very good fries. We ended up enjoying the amount. Dessert wasn't necessary, or maybe there were some cachopo left over, but we had to order a couple of desserts to try. For dessert, we ordered two very good things, both of which we recommend: Avocado Tart - it's like a cheesecake with a very light flavor and a hint of avocado Torrija - very sweet and very good The waiters and the manager (or owner, I don't know who she was) were very friendly and attentive. The upstairs space has low ceilings, and it gets a bit noisy because bands usually play upstairs. We paid €35 per person ”

“ Great place to eat! Very good value for money. Homemade food with friendly, quick, and super-friendly service from the staff. We ordered scallops and a cachopo of cured meat, cheese, and caramelized onions, accompanied by a good cider. Although we were already super full, we couldn't resist the torrija! AWESOME. It also has wonderful views of the sea. ”

“ We had dinner there a few days ago. I didn't take a photo of the grilled turbot, which was also very good. We loved the tomato salad; I think the photo alone shows how good it looked. By the way, I can't remember the name of this tomato variety... Can you help me? We'll definitely be back! ”
